No one but John really know this…. but messes around the house tend to stress me out. Our apartment isn’t even that bad, it’s just so small that the living rooms gets messy real quick. The bedroom has boxes in it that I need to take to goodwill and laundry I need to put away thats on the floor. The kitchen…. just put a couple dishes on the counter and it looks a mess. The disadvantage to living in a small place, there is no room for little messes. However! Today I intend on not worrying about it. I’m going to do some laundry and maybe a little cleaning up, other than that I am just relaxing!
Work has been weird, I’ve been working later closing shifts, which I am not a fan of. And I seem to be dealing with some very strange clients. These next 2 weeks at work we are completely bending to the customers will since it’s the holidays and because of the economy. So most of us are working more hours, later hours, or stranger hours….. One day at a time I have to tell myself. Another reason why I am relaxing today is because after today will be a full busy week of work. Let me say that I am grateful that I am busy at work, considering some people are having a hard time getting a job at all right now.
I was thinking about going to the beach and bringing a book for a little bit. Something soothing. Tonight John is hanging out with the guys, so I am going to hang out with my mom and my sister. Girl time is good. And sometimes girl/family time is exactly what you need. Well…. exactly what you need if you’re a girl.
So last night John and I went to the Christmas Tree Lighting at our church. We met my mom there and a few of our friends. It was pretty fun, it’s mainly a ton of people caroling, eating, selling things, buying things…. but it’s nice because most people are in a good mood. The big finale is when they turn on all the lights that are on the HUGE christmas tree that they have. I wanna say… 45′.. I think. Well of course, that’s the part that we missed, because we were visiting a friend inside the bookstore. So that was a little bit of a bummer, but we made up for it in buying 1/2 a dozen tamales! We also took a picture with two of our friends, Jon and Tess. Maybe John can show me how to put it up here or something.
I am so inept!
Well the sleepy guy finally woke up and rolled out of bed. I guess we should get started on our day…. tonight we are going to his work Christmas party which should be pretty fun 
Well the first thing you should know is that my sweet husband made me this blog…. he really likes the idea of me posting things. So in saying that, the main reason I am doing this is because it makes him smile. But who knows, I may become addicted and love it for selfish reasons. He may have to pry me away from the computer because I am feverishly typing away on the new restaurant I discovered or the crazy clients hair that I just did. And when I get an Iphone (which I know my husband, John, wishes was now instead of a year or so) I may not be able to help myself and post things from my Iphone when I am on the go! That being said, John may one day forget this sweet and slightly nerdy gesture…… and he doesn’t even know it yet.
